We recently updated our existing fireplace and purchased the EZ Door for Heatilator Fireplaces along with a separate mesh screen. Based on the interactions for this order, I highly recommend Brick-Anew! Some details: before ordering we watched their videos which were very helpful, although we didn’t have much luck reaching them via their general phone number their response via email was top-notch, the products we received are of high quality and were fairly easy to install. We would definitely use them again!
We bought a house with a 20+ year old Royal 42" Heat and Glo Fireplace insert. It did not have glass doors. We tried and failed to purchase original manufacturer doors, then discovered the Brick-Anew insert. This product is perfect, and very simple to install. The frame came fully assembled. I had to remove the top lip of the Heat and Glo (4 screws) after which it fit in snugly. I did secure it with the provided 4 screws. Installed the small thin frame did not interfere with the fire place use, view of the fire, or the outside air holes in the Heat and Glo frame. We love it, and are convinced that it is not only giving us the comfort of knowing when we go to bed that sparks can not escape the hot bed (you have to let the fire die down before closing), and the closed doors with its tight seal is reducing heat loss up the flue from the house. I can not speak more highly of this product, or of the team that worked with me. I spoke personally with them to ensure their system would work with the Heat and Glo sharing both pictures and description of what I had, then when I improperly measured the metal spark screen they were quick to provide a refund. My only regret is that I don't have another fire place needing one of these inserts.

I ordered 2 easy doors and 2 mesh curtains for our double sided heatilator fireplace. They look great and were easy to install! I truly can’t say enough about the customer service from my rep Paul. He called through the process to be sure we had what we needed and that the fit was right on all of our products. The communication was outstanding. The products are awesome. I can’t wait for this holiday season so I can use my fireplace!

I have a 30+ year old Heatilator 36” insulated unit and decided to replace the well worn doors as part of an overall refresh of my main seating/TV area. The recommended EZ Fit EZ Door spec’d out perfectly and arrived in 2 days after order.
Removed old doors, mesh curtain and track easily and, following the supplied instructions, installed the new EZ Door in about 20 minutes. The mounting brackets on the frame are movable, so finding a good spot for the screws was easy. As I have a modular sort of installation I was able to install the frame on metal v.v. masonry.
Doors went in per instruction and installation was completed.
All in all a very satisfactory experience; no hitches, no hiccups!!

The Brick-Anew team was so patient answering my million and one questions before I would order the doors. Seriously, though, the doors are so easy to install - don't let that part prevent you from getting rid of your ugly doors!.
We couldn't find replacement doors for our Heatialtor fireplace until we found you! Not only are the doors reasonably priced but you made it easy to order and install.
I had great experience with your company. The woman who answered the phone was wonderful spending nearly a 1/2 hour or more figuring out the model , measuring, and telling me how to install everything. So the installing went smoothly and the doors open and close beautifully and the mesh screen is just as nice..
The doors installed very easily. About 15 minutes total. 4 screws secured the frame to the existing frame and then the doors popped right in and made a nice clean, factory look. Very happy with this product.
We have needed doors for over 20 years. Who knew I could have doors on my fireplace and stop almost all the heating and air loss up my chimney. Very happy with the product, the great customer service and the fast shipping.
I've searched at the big box stores and they do not carry these zero clearance doors that I needed.
