1. Consider the manufacturer.

2. Do you have a gas or wood burning fireplace?

Strange as this may sound, gas fireplaces cannot accept gas logs.  Gas logs have their own burners and are not compatible with gas fireplaces.

If your Marco fireplace is wood burning, you will be able to install gas logs.
