About this kit
The Stafford Fireplace Wood Mantel Shelf is crafted from Asian Choi, which is similar to American White Oak. This beautiful shelf can be hung over a fireplace or on a wall to display family photos, paintings, or accessories. The Antique Finish gives a rich, rustic look or if you prefer to paint or stain it yourself, the Stafford Mantel is available unfinished as well. Cove molding adds charm to the 10” deep shelf.
Light sanding and filling is recommended before paint or stain is applied.

For a period of 24 months from the date of application (if applied during the paint's proper shelf life — paint has a shelf life of 2 years), the paint must be applied and maintained in accordance with the surface preparation and application recommended by our instructions. This limited warranty covers a one-time replacement or a product refund. Customers are expected to maintain their fireplace and take the proper care as listed under the FAQ / instructions.
