Fireplaces are a beautiful addition to any home regardless of where they are placed. Traditionally, I expect to see a fireplace in a den, family room, or living area of a home. So when I saw this post from Bob Vila titled “7 Seriously Surprising Spots for a Fireplace,” I had to share it with all of you!

While I love writing about and sharing beautiful fireplaces with Brick-Anew blog readers, it isn’t often I see a post that includes ideas for fireplaces this unique or expected. It was a lot of fun for me to check out and imagine what a fireplace like any of those featured in this post would be like to have for my very own.  I hope you enjoy this chance to do a little daydreaming too!
